🌿Grow: A Workshop for Teen Girls

Join Jade Dolan for this welcoming 2-hour workshop that is designed for teen girls (ages 15–17) who are looking for a supportive space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves and peers. The session invites them to explore personal growth through movement, creative expression, guided reflection and group conversations. Participants will have the opportunity to think about what is changing in their lives, recognize their strengths, and draw parallels between themselves and their peers in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

Jade is a certified teacher and registered yoga instructor who has completed additional training in teaching yoga for youth. She is passionate about helping young people build confidence, connect with themselves, and feel supported in who they are becoming. As an educator and caregiver to a pre-teen girl, Jade brings warmth, understanding, and a deep commitment to creating positive spaces for girls and teens.

The workshop includes movement to release stress/anxiety, creative activities focused on self-discovery, and a short relaxation to help them leave feeling calmer, more grounded, and connected to themselves. No previous experience with yoga or mindfulness is needed. Simply arrive with an open mind.

What to expect:

  • Guided movement and breathwork

  • Journalling exercises

  • Creative activities

  • Group conversations (optional sharing)

  • Guided meditation

What to bring:

  • Yoga mat (some are available to borrow if needed)

  • Sweater or blanket if you get cold easily

  • Water

What will be provided:

  • Journal handout

  • Pens

  • Bubbly sparkling water

  • Chocolate chip cookies

  • Yoga props (bolster and blocks)
